Fa-fa-faith!

We had our retreat from Wednesday to Friday. Nothing much happened. The place though was really nice and very picturesque. Parang Spain, man! I also enjoyed the company and late night games with Gem, Andrea L. (roomies) and Astrid...pati na rin ang aming kubo/table moments with Patty G.

Our class was fun. I learned that a lot of people have way big problems with family or money, and that's kinda sad. I realized how lucky I am because my "problems" are trivial compared to theirs. It's sad.

Oh yeah, the singing and dancing was kind of fun...except I didn't dig some of the songs. My favorite lines are "Ibigay mu ng tudu. Ibigay mu kay Kristu." and "Who gives the faith for the fa-fa-faith?" Yeah, Bro. Patrick and your very uncoordinated/slightly autistic dancing skills!!

And the brothers...they're insanely freaky!! They wear those brown monk clothing that's really freaky...with the hoods and all. Silas, man!

Fun times. The sessions were kinda useless, though. Except for our "reflection" time, which we used to get some air in the huts. Love the weather...really cold and rainy.

Training for varsity started today. God, how Spartan can it get? My lungs can't handle all the running. I can take the strength stuff, but really, I suck at endurance. Plus, I'm probably the suckiest player out there, even though I am one of the oldest, if not the oldest.

After training I slept for about five hours and woke up at 4 in the afternoon, so you can bet I was really tired...but I will now do lots of push-ups and crunches...plus the stutter thing with the legs, 'cause I suck at that. And I will eat lots of iron-y food, because I feel like I'm mildly anaemic.

Sucks.
