Woah.

OH...MY...GOD...

Woah. Woah. Woah. Jo Rowling just said that two characters will die in the 7th book. Woah.

"...But I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die. A price has to be paid. We are dealing with pure evil here. They don't target extras do they? They go for the main characters. Well, I do."

Woah. Two main characters. Woah. She said it on a talk show Richard and Judy and you can see an article by Yahoo here.

God, I've already started speculating. I can't wait for the book. I want Hermione to get the axe...(I've always hoped to see Emma Watson die a bloody death). But I really don't want Harry to cry for her. Ron dying would just tear my heart into pieces. Ginny and Neville are on my list too.

Still hooked on the OC.

What can I say about the OC? It's beautiful, moving, heartwarming...and frustrating...all at the same time. Yes, I've finished the third season...and really, I don't know what to say.

Yeah, I'm feeling happiness, excitement and disappointment all at the same time. It's weird. I don't know what to expect from the next season...I mean after they finished like that...

Nonetheless, the OC is still so cool and doesn't fail to hook you in.

Anyway...it's that exciting fortnight of Wimbledon again. Nice...

It's someone's birthday today. (Hmm...who?) Oh yes, and three years ago today, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came out. Nice...

Oh...no way!! I just found this OotP movie pic today. It's from a commercial for the Queen's official birthday part. Darn. Dan's hair is so "totoy."

So...this week has been pretty good. Lots of bright and happy things. Except of course, my cleaning group's one-month punishment for missing a day of cleaning (I had a valid reason!). Sigh. Life.

Oh yeah...I totally forgot about that childbirth video we saw in our TeenSTAR class. Yeah, that was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen...but I don't get what all the fuss is about. I mean, you'd expect that was going to happen. But please...the girl could have at least shaved. And that fluid thing...and the umbilical cord. Really I was laughing for the most part while the others were squirming and screaming...but when I saw the umbilical cord, I started shouting as well. I don't know why...and I know there were more disgusting things. But that was just freaky.

You know...I still wanna have kids...but I'll probably have them by C-section. :D

Why?

I can't take it anymore. You know, it hurts so much when your favorite player is losing all the time. You expect him to do so well in grass, and what happens? He loses.

My theory is that James Blake knows too much of Andy's game since they practice together all the time (for the Davis Cup and all that). And you know, Andy gets pissed all the time when his really really really fast serves gets thrown back at him. And he always makes the error when they're slugging it out on the baseline.

Whatever. I'll just wait for Wimbledon.

Haaay...the first time I make an effort to wake up before 10 to watch X-men Evolution back to back, is when I find out that it isn't back to back anymore. Dang.

And right now, I'm waiting for The Futureheads' new album and Pagoda's debut album to be released. (So I can download it...haha.)

Grass rocks!

So they are showing the Stella Artois Championships here. It's on Star Sports...and really late in the night. I'd say 10:30's late 'cause I was already sleepy at 8. You know, school and all.

I was flipping through channels and saw Rafael Nadal playing Lleyton Hewitt...but who I really wanted to see was Andy Roddick. So I just turned off the TV and went to sleep. I found out a few minutes ago that Nadal retired (yey!) and Andy will be playing James Blake in the semis. And oh, I just saw his name...Dmitry Tursunov was in the quarterfinals, but he lost to Tim Henman.

I love the grass season, you know. All those warm-up tournaments leading up to Wimbledon. I mean, grass is so cool to watch. Fast-paced and all that stuff. Really cool. There's nine days to go until Wimbledon.

And did you know that Ralph Lauren is going to dress the ballboys/girls and umpires? Yeah...they're changing it to navy blue. I've seen the sketches. Nice...

**

Anyway...enough tennis talk. What has happened this week in school? It was pretty uneventful, really. I signed up for the newsletter club (there's nowhere else good to go if you're tired of sports clubs, bored of anything related to Peer Facilitating, and too easily embarassed to do performing arts)...I got a lot of disappointing scores on quizzes...and I tried out for varsity. Too many weird and eager first years for my taste.

**

I just saw the tennis schedule of Star Sports. They're showing the Stella Artois semis on 8:30 tonight, then the next match is 10:00. But I don't know who are playing which times. Yeah, so go watch it.

Replays of the quarterfinals are also today at various times.

1 week down.

Ah, yes. Our first week is over. Such a long week.

I didn't have a chance to take advantage of the three-day weekend because of our stupid refresher course. It was pointless. My mock test scores were lower...and it sucked seeing those people again. Thankfully, I won't have to see them again for the rest of my life. My review classes have done nothing but make me look stupid.

Whatever.

There was nothing eventful in the first week. Although, I'm starting to like my class as the days go by...which is a good thing. Work is starting to pile up. I feel so tired everyday. Waking up early is killing me. Most classes are a bore. I'm still mourning over the fact that I won't be able to spend my last year of high school with my group (except during break time, of course). And last but not least...I'm worried like hell about college. If I am to be subjected to education in the Philippines, it's UP or nothing. (But I will be taking all the other entrance tests because I'm not stupid enough to have no back-up at all.) Sigh. The stress is killing me.

In other news:
- Rafael Nadal defeated Roger Federer in the French Open final. Too predictable. Clay is Federer's weak point and Rafa's strongest.
- I am hoping that any of the sports channels will broadcast the Stella Artois tournament and I'm also hoping that Andy Roddick will take the title once again (as well as the Wimbledon title :D).
- Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt's first picture hit newsstands (and the Internet)...and it's so fucking freaky!! A baby that has Angelina's lips. That's freaky weird. Heeeere's Shovel:

First Day Blues

4th year has been depressing so far (yes, for the one day I've been there)...but I'm really trying hard not to show it. I'm just so not comfortable with my class, you know. I don't want to say it, but I think I'm gonna be soo unhappy this year.

This sucks like hell.

Whatever. I'm just gonna keep myself happy by watching X-men behind the scenes footage and anything else I could find on youtube. OMG. The stunts these people do...it's awesome. And the actors actually do them... Like Hugh Jackman and his backflip on wires...he flips like from twenty feet then he lands on the ground and they don't cut the scene. They continue with the slashing and all that stuff. It's awesome.

See...that cheered me up. Sigh. Movies...they're my only reprieve from real life (except for television, of course).

Edit: I chose to edit what I had said. And more about X-men. This scene with Angel flying off the building. Shit. I thought they used green screen for it. But no:

Edit: I saw something again. Click here for the full interview.

We've seen the trailers with you flying out the window. How much is practical and how much is CGI?
Well, the wings are CGI but they attached me to a wire, took off my shirt and then raised me about 80ft above cement. And they said, 'You're flying and we're going to drop you now. We do this for a living.' I'm looking for the bag; there's no bag, just a lot of mutant extras to take my fall if somehow I'm not acting well enough.
