Yeah! Log Jam, baby!
So...I went to Enchanted Kingdom yesterday with Gabay and IIG friends. It was really really fun. Said I would bring a digicam, and I did, but I was too lazy to take pictures. And besides, some people were too lazy to bring their bags so they made those who did bring all their stuff. Losers! Next time don't bring a freakin backpack!
But anyway! Except for my bag being heavy, it was really really enjoyable. Last time I went there I wasn't able to go on the Space Shuttle and the Rio Grande Rapids. Ngayon, paulit ulit yung Rio Grande...pero lucky me, I'm water resistant. We rode there about five times, and the only time I really got wet was when Kiki was showering me with water because I was the only one who didn't get wet. Wahaha! I rode the Space Shuttle once, pero I didn't want to go again, 'cause my spine and neck hurt after.
Anchors Away paulit ulit rin!! May technique na ako! Pero nakakahilo rin after a while. At ang best ride ay ang Log Jam, baby! Almost 10 times ko sinakyan! Dahil super fun! Actually I was trying to give a good pose for the camera...pero I can't freakin open my eyes dahil sa pressure ng pababa. Honestly...yun ang best ride ever! Gusto ko pa ngang ulitin. Some of the guys from IIG sunod sunod nilang sinakyan yun! Siguro mga 25 times! Next time I'm going for the record!
I rode the tsubibo (ferris wheel) only once with Kiki para magpatuyo. Lamig sa taas! We also rode the Rialto, but it sucked big time! Tas blurry pa minsan yung screen kaya mahihilo ka ng sobra!! Didn't go to the 4D Discovery Theatre...sayang! Poj and the others said it was way better than the Rialto. What else? Yeah yun lang pretty much! Punta ka na lang kayo sa ibang blogs ng mga tao for more.
Ang mga kasama pala ay sina poj, ayel, ki, betsy, jessie, nina, gem, nycel, jaco, joshua, noel, chris, ogie, marky, mick mick, larry, kurt, christian, ace, brad, jasper, ate machelle and kuya RJ.
I watched American Dreams this morning...and I was just surprised to see Michelle Branch guesting on the show. She played this singer in whatever era that is (after Kennedy was shot) and she had this weird hairstyle. Like a bob or whatever. It was just so funny!!
So, EK tomorrow...and I'm just so excited 'cause I wanna ride the Space Shuttle and the Log Jam!! I hope the movie in the Rialto is good. I'm planning to bring a digital camera. So pics soon.
I watched America's Next Top Model last night! Yey! I've been waiting for the new season for months!! Nothing's happened yet though...just the semifinals of the auditions. They narrowed some 30+ girls to 14. Next week they'll have a photoshoot in Jamaica. But anyway...I already know who won. I watch ET.
Did you know Amanda (blonde with super light blue eyes) is legally blind? She isn't so much now but she said she'll go completely blind by the time she's 30. It was really sad when she said that...but it's some sort of disorder. Here's her beauty shot...gorgeous eyes!
I haven't updated in the past few days...with the family trip and all. We went to this beach in Batangas with family friends. But it would've been more fun if there were more of us...'cause we were only 9. The beach was so beautiful! I've never been to Boracay so I can't compare. But that beach is one of the best you could ever see here. I don't know the name of the beach, unfortunately.
It's not a public beach so there were only a few people, and the family that was with us owned a piece of land there...so that's where we set up our tents. Yes, we slept in tents...but we had airbeds thank goodness!! Anyway...it was a fun trip. Getting there though and going back to Manila was extremely difficult!! We probably got stuck in the sand more than once. And when we went back it was on the mountain and there weren't roads yet, so you'd really be scared of falling.
We went Thursday, went back Friday, then we stayed at the Bellevue Hotel in Alabang for some reason...but it's nice there. They have a gorgeous pool...but it's small. And the beds are small. But the bathroom is nice. And since American Idol was rescheduled since the phone numbers got all mixed up...I got to watch it! And Mikalah's out. Not really something to mourn about, 'cause she's not that good anyway.
You know I took pictures of the sunset and it was so beautiful, pero di pumasok!! I hate it!

I predict I'll be sulking the whole summer...especially after I get my grades. So right now...I'll just enumerate kung anong nangyari sa akin for the past few days.
1. Sunday, I persuaded my brother to buy Sims 2 University. Nalaro ko na. Masaya. Maglalaro ako uli bukas.
2. Monday, went to Galleria to visit my cousin. They're staying at the Holiday Inn. So naki-epal kami. Who cares? May airconditioning.
3. Monday night, nalaman ko ("devastatingly") na nilipat ang America's Next Top Model from Thursday to Monday, I don't know when. Di ko lam kung pinalabas lang yung last episode ng season 2 kahapon...o dati pa nilipat before matapos yung season 1. Peste. Pero season 3 na next week...so who cares? Pero alam ko na kung sino mananalo.
4. Tuesday, bumili si mom ng video camera. Bago. Maliit na ngayon. Hay salamat. Pero ako, gusto ko ng camera phone. Wala lang...just saying.
Okay. Ngayon, napag-isip isip ko na that I don't want to go to college here. I really don't. Kaya magpapakahirap akong magsipag sa third year...at kelangan ko talagang umalis dito. At gusto ko di pipitsugin (what a word!!) na school ang mapapasukan ko pag-alis ko dito. Hindi dapat. I'll work harder na talaga.
Btw...I need a haircut so bad!! Gusto ko yung mohawk ni Yoanna...pero baka di mag-grow in time for school. Haha!

And finally. Goodness! I can't believe how happy I am right now that second year is finally over!! Two months without school is just glorifying! Our class party a few hours ago in McDonalds was fun...and I actually didn't expect it to be fun. Children's party ang dating...pero so much fun. I received the I AM A WHATEVER award...and we won in this game where you hop around with a balloon between your legs. It was fun! Also, it's the first time today that I ate the King Cone or the McColosso. Sarap nung cone!
Anyway...didn't take any pictures. Well, what do you expect? I have no camera phone, our digital camera's broken. So I'll just post links in the next few days...'cause I know classmates would post in their blogs and upload the pics in their photobuckets.
Bio test kanina...and I really don't know if it's hard or not...sagot lang ako ng sagot 'cause I just wanted it to end!! But I think I passed all my tests. Well, I already know that I'm not gonna be an honor student this year...so why push myself any longer? I'll do better na lang in third year, hopefully.
So...more American Idol talk. Honestly, why the hell did Mario drop out of the competition? I was listening to the group song they did in Pasadena (the song Scott Savol also sang in semi-finals)...and really, ang ganda ng voice, man! Sayang ang talent talaga!! Well, I'm off to download more songs.
Three days till freedom!!
At nakakamatay ang Filipino test kanina. Actually hindi sobrang hirap, problema lang kasi no erasures at isang oras lang. So most of the time nagmamadali na lang ako. Tapos peste yung pang-abay na part...ang gulo!! Pero ayos lang. At least natapos na...at madali lang yung test sa Statistics.
Anyway...omfg!! Kanina after recess, umiiyak si Kiki (who was my seatmate) tas pinapagtawanan lang siya ng mga katabi namin. Tas tinanung ko kung bakit...sabi niya Mario Vazquez dropped out of American Idol 4. Then I just laughed. Tas ngayon...when I went to Yahoo...it's fucking true!!! Click!
OMG!! I can't believe it!! He's one of my favorites pa naman. Pag sinabi ko yun kay Kiki iiyak siya ng malupit bukas! OMG!! Anwar will win na nga. Pero Mario...why'd you leave?? Sayang ang talent mo, man!!
Ok sige...can't stay long...still have to study for AP (damn!) at Math (damn rin!)...

I'm starting to extremely hate life!! Nothing is going right for me. Not to mention exams are next week and I haven't studied a single thing. I just can't wait for this year to be over. Honestly!

Much to talk about.
Finding Neverland. Such a heart-warming movie. A bit on the shorter side, though. The other Oscar contenders were soo freakin long!! But I don't know with Sideways since I haven't watched it yet. Johnny Depp is gorgeous when his hair is a slicked back...but unfortunately, that's not usually the case in this movie. But he was good in this movie. (Well, duh! That's why he was nominated for Best Actor!!). Kate Winslet was great here too...and what's really shocking is how good Freddie Highmore (who plays the young boy, Peter) acts at such a young age.
If you didn't know, this movie is the story of J.M. Barrie's friendship with a family who inspired him to create Peter Pan. It's really such a nice movie...but you already know when you see it and see the other movies that were up for Best Picture that it doesn't really stand a chance. But it is such a nice movie...and you should watch it. I liked it more than Million Dollar Baby.

American Idol. It's only today that I realized Mario Vasquez sounds like Michael Jackson...and he's good. Kiki was playing the Do I Do over and over and over! Also, watched the new episode this afternoon. I was blown away by Nikko Smith's Georgia on My Mind...and for me, the best performance was by Anwar Robinson and his What a Wonderful World rendition. My bet's on Anwar to win!
The Beatles. I have promised to myself that the next few CDs I will buy will all be from the Beatles...and I will punish myself if I don't keep that promise. Well...I've no money right now to buy CDs anyway.
Elyse. Believe me when I say this...Elyse Sewell from America's Next Top Model actually has a blog (live journal). And it's real. She's not a poser at all! You can tell 'cause she has real pics and the way she writes is very much like her. Witty, intelligent, and with hints of sarcasm. She's actually in Hong Kong right now. Click.

Sorry for the late post. I was really tired when I got home last Saturday from our exposure trip to the Aetas...then I found out the next day that we used up our internet card. So that's why I'm doing this today...and with pictures. Btw...click the thumbnails for a bigger view of the pic.
I actually didn't expect it to be so much fun!! It was the second day of my you-know-what and I had pretty much said to myself that that day would be so horrible. But it wasn't. It was soo fun!! Btw...di naman talaga kami pumuntang Kalangitan...it was a different place. Pero...whatever...
I arrived at Shell 4:45 mga ganun to buy Jungle Juice for the kids. The bus arrived mga 5-ish...I called Anna who was still not there when the bus was already set to leave...then I found out she just woke up. So nagpaiwan siya. Then we left soon after. The trip was fine...we stopped somewhere in the expressway. I bought food from KFC for the kids...tas food for myself. After that, bus ulit...happiness...pero nagkagulu-gulo pa nung bumaba kami sa Capas (sp?) McDo. We stayed there for like thirty minutes e mali pala. Akala ng teachers dun kami mag-jeep. Pero sa Juliana (sp?) pa pala.
So yun...to Juliana naman. Sakay kaming jeep and off to the mountains. To explain the place would be a bit hard. It was a long rocky plain of some sort surrounded by mountains. Ang saya nung trip...kasi ang rocky nga...tas parang nasa Rio Grande Rapids or whatever. Tas mga 30 minutes yun. So masaya. Then we arrived sa place...sa end yun nung plain, sa foot of the mountains. Yung mga Aetas ang bumaba...kasi yung mga tirahan nila were on top of the mountains. E they told us it took 2 hours to get there. So may naka set-up pang covered place with leaves and bamboo that was to serve as the clinic para sa medical and dental check-up.
At oo nga pala...I forgot to post na I watched Finding Neverland...very touching. You should watch it. Thoughts on the movie tomorrow. Sige...yun lang!!
So, what has happened to me lately? Yes, I've been talking about the Oscars non-stop. But what can I say? I love Hollywood. Pero...ano nang nangyayari sakin sa school?
Forgot to tell you about our CL project. I forgot kung kung anong araw kami nag-present...pero gosh! Our teacher got angry (or more like very annoyed) with us kasi parang niloloko lang namin ganyan ganyan...parang di daw kami nagbigay ng effort. Honestly, wasn't our fault. Our presentation could've been better if we had the Projection Room to ourselves. Pero hindi!! May nag-reserve nang ibang teacher!! (Not to be mentioned here.) Hay naku! Tas sabi pa nung CL teacher namin na don't expect a high grade daw. Puh-lease! Hindi na ako nag-eexpect dahil bagsakan na yung mga quizzes ko...kaya kelangan super super taas ng CL finals ko...kung kaya ko man...
Tas kahapon...wow...I was listening sa Bio. At napag-isipan ko na. Pero actually dati pa. Bakit sa akin napunta yung short genes ng parents ko? Hah? Bakit?? Kung si daddy ang tangkad ang tangkad...at kung si mommy siguro ka-height ko. Diba dapat nasa may gitna ako...5'2 to 5'4 kung may short genes talaga ako...o 5'5-5'9 kung maswerte ako!! Pero bakit ang liit ko??? Bakit???!!!
It saddens me. I think it's because I don't eat right...but veggies suck!! They don't taste good. And I really don't understand why I get so full easily!! Bat yung iba nakakapag-second servings. Pero ako hindi...kasi puno na ako. Baka kasi inom ako ng inom ng water. Di ko alam. Pero kung ano man yun, kelangan gawin ng solusyon!! Kelangan ko ng bitamina!!
Food sale kanina! Gosh...ang dramatic! We were feeling hopeless before classes kasi hindi nescafe ice yung nabili...nescafe 3 in 1. So we were panicking...e di naman pwede brownies and jelly ace lang ibenta namin. At sayang naman nagdala pa si Anna ng blender, bumili pa si Catherine ng ice, tas nagdala pa ako ng cooler. Thank goodness for my mom! And the PTA office.
Tas naman di masyadong mabenta yung brownies sa high school. Akala namin di mababawi yung pera na ginastos. It's a good thing matatakaw yung grade school. Hehehe. Pero talaga!! Ang hirap magbenta!! Pero at least nabenta lahat at nabawi namin yung nagastos...at may profit pa kami! Na-double namin, grabe! We were so proud of ourselves!!
And today was also the inter-club thing. I joined culinary arts. At ang saya. Kumain lang kami. And of course, set the table, washed the dishes and did everything else you had to do during an eating session. Pero it was fun. Ang saya ng group namin.

I canNOT believe that Million Dollar Baby won. I stayed up until 11:30 just to finish the Oscars because I was waiting for the Aviator to win Best Picture. And I don't believe it. Some time around 10 dad came home and told me he went online and found out that Million Dollar Baby won. It is such a travesty!! I'm so pissed at the Academy! And also, I'd have also picked Martin Scorsese for Best Director. But no, it went to Clint.
I've already watched the Aviator, Ray and Million Dollar Baby (which are the three most likely to win)...so I know what I'm talking about. Yes Jamie Foxx deserved to win...and so did Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. Supporting actress I knew would go to Cate Blanchett and she deserves it. But puh-lease!! Aviator was, for me, the best movie out of the three and it should've won Best Picture!! Whatever.
And my thoughts on Million Dollar Baby...it was a good movie. But I think Maggie Fitzgerald's road to the top thing (the boxing matches part) was kinda short...I mean, it got less screen time. And the scenes after that (the sort of plot twist) came too soon and were dwelled on too much. That's just my opinion. Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman were great. And I can't believe how scarred Clint Eastwood's face is!! In the Oscars you won't see it 'cause he probably got Botox or something.
Anyway...we have our food sale tomorrow. So the rest of the week's gonna be less hectic after that, thank goodness. If I have the time in the next few days I'll be watching Finding Neverland, which was also nominated for Best Picture.
