Kalangitan.
Sorry for the late post. I was really tired when I got home last Saturday from our exposure trip to the Aetas...then I found out the next day that we used up our internet card. So that's why I'm doing this today...and with pictures. Btw...click the thumbnails for a bigger view of the pic.
I actually didn't expect it to be so much fun!! It was the second day of my you-know-what and I had pretty much said to myself that that day would be so horrible. But it wasn't. It was soo fun!! Btw...di naman talaga kami pumuntang Kalangitan...it was a different place. Pero...whatever...
I arrived at Shell 4:45 mga ganun to buy Jungle Juice for the kids. The bus arrived mga 5-ish...I called Anna who was still not there when the bus was already set to leave...then I found out she just woke up. So nagpaiwan siya. Then we left soon after. The trip was fine...we stopped somewhere in the expressway. I bought food from KFC for the kids...tas food for myself. After that, bus ulit...happiness...pero nagkagulu-gulo pa nung bumaba kami sa Capas (sp?) McDo. We stayed there for like thirty minutes e mali pala. Akala ng teachers dun kami mag-jeep. Pero sa Juliana (sp?) pa pala.
So yun...to Juliana naman. Sakay kaming jeep and off to the mountains. To explain the place would be a bit hard. It was a long rocky plain of some sort surrounded by mountains. Ang saya nung trip...kasi ang rocky nga...tas parang nasa Rio Grande Rapids or whatever. Tas mga 30 minutes yun. So masaya. Then we arrived sa place...sa end yun nung plain, sa foot of the mountains. Yung mga Aetas ang bumaba...kasi yung mga tirahan nila were on top of the mountains. E they told us it took 2 hours to get there. So may naka set-up pang covered place with leaves and bamboo that was to serve as the clinic para sa medical and dental check-up.
At oo nga pala...I forgot to post na I watched Finding Neverland...very touching. You should watch it. Thoughts on the movie tomorrow. Sige...yun lang!!
